It’s Official: Trauma Center for Launch

Atlus just gave a press release saying that Trauma Center: Second Opinion is going to be available on the day that the Wii launches. Before this, all we had to go by was that the team was working hard to meet launch. It looks like they’re going into the last steps of development and will have the game out by launch day. For those who’ve been locked up in a cave for the past two days, the Wii launches on November 19, 2006.

Trauma Center will greatly benefit from being a launch title. It already has a good reputation among gamers so it might see increased sales. The Wii launch might do for Trauma Center what the GameCube launch did for Super Monkey Ball. Maybe we’ll see a real sequel to Trauma Center?
