Apple releases iTunes 9.2.1 and iBooks 1.1.1 update
Apple has rolled out a new version of iTunes. The latest update, now available for download, includes several bug fixes and new features to further enhance the ever-popular application.
Apple has rolled out a new version of iTunes. The latest update, now available for download, includes several bug fixes and new features to further enhance the ever-popular application.
Changelog:
- Disables older versions of some incompatible third-party plug-ins
- Addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
- Addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
- Addresses an issue upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod touch with encrypted back-ups
- Addresses other issues that improve stability and performance
Along with the iTunes update, Apple has also released iBooks 1.1.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

- Added support for ebooks that include audio and video content
- Added the ability to double-tap images to zoom in
- Improved performance when reading PDF documents
- Added the ability to look up English word definitions in books that don’t include a specified language
