Apple has rolled out a new version of iTunes. The latest update, now available for download, includes several bug fixes and new features to further enhance the ever-popular application.

 

Changelog:

    • Disables older versions of some incompatible third-party plug-ins
    • Addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
    • Addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
    • Addresses an issue upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod touch with encrypted back-ups
    • Addresses other issues that improve stability and performance

     

    Along with the iTunes update, Apple has also released iBooks 1.1.1 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

    Changelog:

    • Added support for ebooks that include audio and video content
    • Added the ability to double-tap images to zoom in
    • Improved performance when reading PDF documents
    • Added the ability to look up English word definitions in books that don’t include a specified language
    • Improved overall stability and performance.
