Ivor Dog’s Duck Hunt Release 2

How’s your aim, guys? We’re asking the question to those who got hold of Ivor Dog‘s Duck Hunt homebrew he released last month. Now, for the guys who’d like a take two of the game, we’re happy to report that Ivor Dog has made Duck Hunt release 2 of this title, and just in time for the holidays.

And what’s the difference between this and his November release? As Ivor Dog points out:

• Added sound FX & background music
• Some people didn’t like the aiming system, so there’s a choice now between the original “spring-back” style aiming and a new mouse-style aiming.
• Added a life-bar in the top corner that shows how close you are to losing your license.

Aside from the major tweaks like the aiming controls, he also reports that the game’s zip package contains both a 1.5 and 2.xx Eboot, though it’s only been tested for up to 2.71 SE-C.
