Jade Raymond on Assasin’s Creed features, in French

Since Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed finally got a November release, our eyes are set on this much anticipated title. Gamersyde were fortunate enough to get an interview with producer Jade Raymond herself, and it’s even in French. During the Ubidays, she revealed some pretty cool features and a background on the game’s story.

If you took in every glorious detail from previous trailers, you’d have noticed the blade that replaces Altair’s ring finger. Raymond calls it as the “hidden blade,” something that is part of the game’s history about assassins and we’ll probably be using it a lot.

She also shared some juicy bits about other gameplay elements, such as acquiring equipment that give special abilities. Boots make you escape much smoother, while gloves provide more power in climbing structures or mountains. Altair gets stripped of his arsenal early in the game, so we’ll have to take them back.

The different options to take in order to achieve your goal sounds a lot like the Hitman games. Either you have a monkey feeling and start climbing  buildings to get a good vantage point, or slip in through the crowd before stabbing your target behind the back – it’s up to you.

We won’t spoil you further, since we know you guys want to see Jade Raymond talking. Enjoy!
