Jagex features Runescape Halloween event based on player wishes
Remember the Runescape Guaranteed Content Poll that took place several months ago? In it, players were asked what kinds of events and rewards they wanted to look forward to. Well guess what? Jagex Ltd., the developer of Runescape, is holding an eclectic Hallowe’en Event for all Runescape players-an event based on the responses that the Jagex people have garnered from that very same Guaranteed Content Poll!
The nature of the Hallowe’en Event deals with the travails of the Grim Reaper. It seems that Death Incarnate’s servant has taken a turn for the worse, and the Grim Reaper has decided to apply for a new assistant to help out with household chores. Unfortunately for aspiring new assistants, “household chores” in the Grim Reaper style refers to anything from navigating a maze of cobwebs, to avoiding booby traps, to avoiding the Grim Reaper’s hellhound, Muncher.
If Jagex’s Runescape Hallowe’en Event sounds like fun to you, then take a trip to the portal south of Falador, near the elemental wizards. And worry not: Jagex Ltd. has reassured everyone that the event is “safe” (as in no items may be lost) and is open to both free-to-play gamers and members.
