Kick High and Far with the FIFA 07 Trailer!
Since it’s a new month, and the grass is probably growing again (unless you live on concrete), now seems like a good time to give you a taste of soccer frenzy. What we have now is another trailer for FIFA 2007, and it feels more like a commercial than an actual trailer.
How come? Well, while it does talk about the online feature, it does so with more still photos of fans at the stands. It actually gives it a more “I’m a fan and I love kicking balls!” feel than a “only for gamers” feel, which would be a smart move for EA Sports. Since it’s got competition in the form of Pro Evolution Soccer, they might just get an edge over Pro Ev as they’re probably aiming to get even casual soccer watchers into the game (and online). In any case, when the game comes out, there’s going to be a lot of positioning for the top spot in the standings.
