Konami announces Elebits: The Adventures of Zero and Kai for the DS
Now here’s something that will surely light up the smiles on every DS owners’ faces: Konami has recently announced that the sequel to Elebits, Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, will be hitting the Nintendo handheld this fall, confirming an earlier rumor. More details in the full article!
Remember Kai, the main character from Elebits? Yes, the rumor is true, but we’re going to see him again with his newfound Elebit friend Zero in the Nintendo DS instead of the Wii in their latest game Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, according to Konami‘s official statement about the game’s release.
The main premise of the game seems to be the same: you need to seek out the energy-providing Elebits and befriend them so they’ll provide energy to everyday objects.
With the help of the Elebits, players will plow through the game by solving puzzles and fulfill quests by revealing hidden paths, freeze water, and lifting rocks, among others. However, that’s not the only thing that’s good about Elebits for the DS: up to four players can connect and compete with each other head to head over the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
Excited? We don’t know about you, but we sure are. The game is slated to be released sometime in Fall 2008, along with the other much-awaited games such as Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, also for the DS.
