Lady Croft set to invade PS3

Lara CroftIt has been ten years now since we came to know Lady Lara Croft. And within that period of time, she has undergone various changes including her ever-charming physique, and even her own history. A decade after, not a trace of age can be seen. Lady Croft is not getting older, ladies and gentlemen. Instead, the beauteous Lara is getting on to the PS3!

It was during the SCi Entertainment Group financial report briefing last Wednesday that the announcement was made by no less than company CEO Jane Cavanagh. Accordingly, SCi’s core earnings reached $ 54.58 million on revenue of $ 227.46 from January to June 30, 2006. Cavanagh reveals, “The largest contribution to revenue and profitability was Tomb Raider Legend. This product was launched on Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and PC in April 2006 and on PSP in June 2006.”

Furthermore, SCi admittedly plans to exploit established brands like Hitman: Blood Money, Lego Star Wars and Kane and Lynch. No other details regarding the new PS3 Lara Croft title were revealed. Although Cavanagh claims fans can expect it by 2008.
