Leaked Halo 3 gameplay video reveals Elephant, Gravity Hammer

While we’ve seen our share of Warthogs and the other land-based vehicles in the oodles of beta gameplay videos of Bungie’s upcoming hit, Halo 3, we’ve never really seen anything that made us go “wow” – in the COOL BEANS THIS THING IS HUGE I WANNA DRIVE IT AND BLOW STUFF UP WITH IT sense. Well, now there is one, and that’s the Elephant, captured on video during a beta gameplay session.

While we don’t know quite just what the Elephant is capable of, or what its payload actually is, one thing’s for sure – it’s pretty darn big. It’s so big, the camera actually has to pan out quite a distance away just for you to see the entire vehicle AND where you’re headed. It’s also slow, but hey, who needs to be fast when you’re built like a tank? Or two tanks taped together!

Halo 3 is packing some serious firepower here, and we can’t wait to see how everything plays out (including that Gravity Hammer we see clipped to that lucky Master Chief‘s back). Updates as we get them – enjoy the video!
