Life in the big city: big batch of Grand Theft Auto IV screens

Screenshots found in magazine scans of Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3, 360) spreads can only go so far. Although the scans do prove useful in fleshing out a lot of details for us, what we want to see right now are actual screens (without the graininess of scanners). Hence, the pics below.

This first batch of screenshots are many and varied. Some of which show Niko, some of which show Liberty City itself. Check out the leaves on the trees, water effects, skyscrapers in the distant horizon, and even down to the pockmarks on Niko’s face. Yeah, it’s all about the detail here… And for what it’s worth, those nighttime screens are looking fab:
