Localized Phantasy Star Portable 2 to tie-up with Western gaming mags
The Japanese release of Phantasy Star Portable 2 boasts quite a number of product tie-ins, one of which is is the Famitsu Magazine that you happen to use as a shield in the game. Now that the West is getting its own localized version, we can’t exactly expect a Japanese gaming mag in a Western release, right? Don’t worry, there’s gonna be a Western gaming mag.

A Sega rep said that there will be a tie-in with European and North American gamings mags, yes that’s plural, but they’re not saying which ones, or if they’ll be shields too.
What the rep did confirm is that the localized version will be maintaining the Valkyria Chronicles 2 items. The school uniforms, the spear, the shield, the Gallian rifle, and Lancer will all be kept intact.
