Lost Planet PS3 dated for February 21 in Japan

Originally released for Microsoft‘s Xbox 360 home video game console late last year, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition focuses on protagonist Wayne Holden and the planet E.D.N III. More at the full article.

Capcom has finally set an official Japanese release date for the PlayStation 3 version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Xbox 360, PC, PS3). The game will hit Japanese store shelves on February 21, 2008 for ¥ 6,290 (US$ 57).

Originally released for Microsoft‘s Xbox 360 home video game console late last year, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition focuses on protagonist Wayne Holden and the planet E.D.N III. Players can wield a variety of weapons as well as pilot an assortment of robot suits called Vital Suits against the planet’s native species, the Akrid.

The PlayStation 3 version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, announced last month, will reportedly include all of the downloadable content available for the game’s Xbox 360 version as well as the bonus characters found in the PC version. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for the PlayStation 3 will also feature online multiplayer for up to 16 players.
