LotRO Book 11 explained: The Rift, Lore-Master, and more

The Balrog in LotRO - Image 1The latest update to Turbine Inc’s The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar is set to hit tomorrow. And right before we could get our grubby hands on Book 11: Defenders of Eriador, here’s one last look at what we can expect from the update. In a pre-launch interview, LotRO exec producer Jeff Steefle elaborated more on a couple of things.

For example, the new 12-man raid to be introduced in Book 11 is actually subdivided into three. The Rift will actually encompass the 1) Mines, 2) City, and 3) Balrog‘s Chamber. Among other things, you’ll be encountering eight new bosses in the raid, including Fire Giants who eventually betray you at some point (*wink wink*).

They’ve also discussed the new tweaks to the Lore-Master class as well as more info on how housing works.
