Mach3 Bovines: Wii Play Cow-Racing

One of the nicest things about the Nintendo Wii would most probably be the fact that it’s just so darn fun and light-hearted. It also offers some serious gaming moments, of course, but as for the games that you, your friends, and your grandma can play, one can’t help but give the devs a pat on the back for just being plain fun.

So, here’s what we got for today: Wii Play’s Cow-racing. The very name of the activity can at least generate a chuckle or a giggle, so that pretty much sets us out on a good start with the whole idea, though we’re not sure if cow-tossing would be more fun. Moving on…

It’s one of the mini-games that can be played on the game, where you and an opponent can go one-on-one in a race to the barn finish line on board some of the fastest bovines that pixels can render, and you then have to use your Wiimote to steer your cow. The game also makes use of Miis, so that’s another plus on our list. And just to show you how these cows can speed off, here’s a short video game clip.
