If somehow you missed the opportunity to join the last MAG beta and was still hoping to try out the highly anticipated online shooter of the generation, you’ll soon get another chance as Zipper Interactive has announced that the current beta program will be extended a little bit longer through the weekend and into early next week.
According to Jeremy Dunham, Zipper Interactive’s new Senior Community Manager, details on how to get into the next beta will be revealed next week.
Your help has been invaluable to us so far — which is why we’re keeping our servers going 24 hours a day, seven days a week – and we’re extremely excited to hear from even more of you as we approach MAG’s launch on January 26.
P.S. One thing to note for GameStop pre-order customers: If you have already redeemed a physical beta pre-order voucher prior to November 20, then you won’t need to take any additional steps to participate in the extension or our next beta beyond an additional download once the upgrade has gone live. In order to qualify for a working pre-order beta code after November 20, however, you’ll need to secure your pre-order through the Gamestop.com or EB Games websites — in-store pre-orders made after November 20 will no longer support our beta code promotion.
