Adam Sandler Pledges 400 PlayStations to Israel
Adam Sandler, star of various movies such as “The Longest Yard” and “Click” announced that he will donate 400 PlayStation consoles to Israel. Whether those would be PSOnes, PS2s or pre-ordered PS3s, we haven’t got a clue.
However, we’re quite sure that Ehud Danoch, consul general of Israel in LA, met with various actors, producers and directors to discuss current Israeli issues: such as the damage incurred by the country, as well as “its position on the current cease-fire and threats posed by Hezbollah and other regional forces.”
And Sandler’s response? A whopping 400 PlayStations for Israelis. He and Danoch signed a pledge at Sony Studios regarding the said donation “where he was joined by members of his own family and several dozen studio employees.”
It’s a good thing that people are ready to lend a hand, not only by giving basic necessities, but providing a means of entertainment for those affected by the war.
