Once again we turn to the land of Japan, where a portable version of the PS2 title Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (which is coming out in the US this August) has been announced by Gust.

The PSP port will be released in Japan this October under the name Mana Khemia 2: Ochita Gakuen to Renkinjutsushi Tachi Portable+. It’ll feature a new system that allows players to train their new fighters under the teacher Gunnar Damm. Here are a few screenshots.

No telling if this will ever see a release overseas, considering the rather dismal critic scores Mana Khemia: Student Alliance got. A shame, that, because despite the crap production values, the sometimes annoying voice acting, and all those damn loading screens that game actually grew on me. And no, I’m not being sarcastic. I really hope NIS America brings this one over too.
