MapleStory Europe to get Singapore map, third tier job upgrades
If playing MapleStory Europe is your thing, then you will be happy to know that Nexon will be updating the game beginning this January 17 and in February by adding a new map and job upgrades respectively.
The said map was based from the real-life city of Singapore while the job upgrades count as the third-tier for the game. Several other skills were added as well. To know the full details, click the “read more” link below.
Nexon just sent in a press release, informing every single player of the 2D MMORPG MapleStory in Europe that new quests and jobs will be introduced to the game to celebrate the new year.
Quite interestingly, the new quests will take place in a new map which concept was based from the real city of Singapore. It should go live on January 17 and will be featuring both the area’s modern business district and the more laid-back quayside.
Players who want to explore the said city must speak with the NPC Ticket Usher Irene at Kerning City and buy a plane ticket from her. This will then lead you to a private jet flight that will ultimately bring you to Singapore.
Come February, furthermore, MapleStory will be graced by the third tier of job advancements that will allow players level 70 and beyond to select a new profession. There will be a total of 10 new jobs (White Knight, Priest, Ranger, Chief Bandit, etc.) and 65 new skills to learn.
“2008 promises to be a huge year for MapleStory Europe as we continue its rapid expansion. Committed and new players alike can be certain of many happy hours of MapleStory Europe fun now, throughout the rest 2008 and beyond,” said Nexon Europe’s Calvin Yoo.
