Mario Kart 64 now in Euro VC
Mario Kart 64 is already available in Nintendo Wii’s European Virtual Console line-up. This title’s is only the second Nintendo 64 game to hit the VC list (just a small factoid for you guys, the first N64 game to join the VC list is Super Mario 64). Mario Kart 64 will cost you 1000 points, but we’re pretty sure that the price is worth it. Aside from this, Turbografx-16’s Soldier Blade is now available too, for 600 points.
Aside from that development, you could also expect the free News Channel to go live anytime now. Through it, you’ll be able to read coverage of current affairs from an Associated Press feed, so as you won’t be in the dark about what’s happening in other parts of the globe. Speaking of globes, the News Channel would let you navigate a 3D globe to check headlines and you can even select an area of interest like business, sports, or entertainment. Truly, the world is right at your fingertips.
And for European Wii gamers, you’d be happy to know that Nintendo recently talked about another version of the News Channel which will feature more extensive European headlines. This one will be launched later this year. Now is the best time for you to click on the System Update on your Wii Setting menu, don’t you think?
