Mass Effect street date gets broken
The Cheap Ass Gamer website is reporting that Mass Effect’s street date has already been broken. In this case, K-Mart seems to be the culprit as two members of the CAG community, uberczar915 and Viper22, were able to purchase copies of Mass Effect two-weeks ahead of the game’s launch date.
Online retailers also report it as “in stock”. More after the jump!

Additional reports from the CAG forums have also mentioned that online retailers such as Newegg, Toys “R” Us, and Walmart are also listing the game as on-stock.
BioWare still hasn’t made a statement about this, though we do know that Microsoft and BioWare have already taken action against people playing the game early. That being said though, folks who already have a copy of the game may want to keep themselves offline if they want to try out the game ahead of everyone else.
