MegaETK-TD v1.04 now with DLDI support

It’s been a long time since we’ve had an update to ETk’s MegaETk  homebrew game, and we’re glad that the project has been picked up by another homebrew developer, TeenDev. In this newest release, MegaETk finally gets its much-needed DLDI support, and more. The details in the full article.

The DS homebrew community may remember reading about ETk releasing the source code of MegaETk, the impressive homebrewed side-scrolling platformer. As expected, another homebrew developer, TeenDev, picked up the project and added a few improvements as well as the game’s much-needed DLDI support.

Check out the mini-changelog:

• Savefile decryption removed.
• Fixed for the R4 and M3 Simply and clones.
• Sound is disabled in the R4/M3S version in order for the touchscreen to work. This is due to a problem with the Modplayer. (I’ll fix this next release).
• Added DLDI Support. Remember to patch!
• Fixed random freezings for the most part.
