Mercury Meltdown, a game involving weird blobs of mercury, has a new video that shows how the game was developed – from sketches to the final design of the game. The game has features over 160 game levels, game share and downloadable content, free-form progression, and five unlockable mini-games.

Just like its predecessor, Archer Maclean’s Mercury, the idea is to guide the blobs of mercury to reach the destination, by tilting the playing area. The sequel has more levels and it features a progression system wherein the levels are specifically designed to minimize as many camera problems as possible. All stages in a lab are now accessible when the lab is unlocked, allowing players to decide whether to try another stage to progress. Check out the video for some intense blob of mercury action.
