Microsoft hits 1 million Xbox 360 sales in Japan, launches “Thank You” campaign, 31 new games
It’s “Thank You” time for Microsoft in Japan as they happily announce at a Tokyo press conference today that the Xbox 360 finally hit the one million mark. To share their gratitude to their loyal fans, MS announced their “Thank You” campain, where over 1 million MS Points will be given away. Oh, and they’ve got 31 new games coming.

To share their gratitude to their loyal fans, MS announced their “Thank You” campain, where over 1 million MS Points will be given away. Oh, and they’ve got 31 new games coming.
But first, on the campaign. Apart from the MS points they’ll be giving away, they’ll also be sending out a free dashboard theme. Yeah, yeah. They could have gone for something better, but hey, they’ve got 31 new games anyway. Right?

- Tekken 6 (Namco Bandai, Fall 2009)
- Lost Planet 2 (Capcom, New trailer showed off the game’s four-player cooperative; video should be available on Japanese Xbox LIVE Marketplace today)
- Dead Rising 2 (Capcom, new trailer showed gameplay; video should be on Xbox LIVE Marketplace today)
- Bayonetta (Showed off same trailer, but demonstrated live gameplay!)
