Microsoft reacts to Reggie Fils-Aime’s comments
Yesterday, we reported about Reggie Fils-Aime and Nintendo’s strategy and game plan. Now, Microsoft reacts. When asked by website CVG for their comment about the statements of the Nintendo of America president, the Microsoft camp said that they are “very happy with how Xbox 360 is performing in Europe“. If you could recall, Reggie mentioned that the Xbox 360 is only selling well in only one country – the United Kingdom (UK).
Microsoft also mentioned that they are very satisfied and happy with Xbox 360’s performance in Europe. They also reiterated that they are still on target to meet their aim of 12 million consoles sold worldwide by the end of June 2007 as they “have sold more than 10.4 million consoles globally as of December 2006, and have built a global Xbox Live community of more than 6 million people”.
The Xbox 360 camp is also banking on the sales performance of games like Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 2, and Mass Effect.
