Microsoft will NOT ban early Halo ODST players… BUT!
Stephen Toulouse of Microsoft‘s XBLA has taken to — again, the very active social updater today – Twitter to clarify that good ol’ MS will NOT be banning those who can’t keep their Halo 3 ODSTs in a tight wrap until official release.

Yes, he’s talking about those who prematurely gets the game. No, he’s not talking about pirates. Stephen speaks tweets:
Clarity on the ODST thing. We will not be banning legitimate customers from Xbox Live who play early.
Don’t get all too cocky now, thought. There’s a footnote to this clarification, one that needs fine reading:
However, if you have Halo ODST achievements and haven’t played the game, prepare for a gamerscore reset.
