Mike Carroll on EA’s SKATE

We’ve seen a lot of Electronic Arts‘ real life skater ads for SKATE and just one gameplay video. Not that we’re complaining or anything as this time it’s Mike Carroll on the spotlight.

Mike Carroll (Thrasher magazine’s Skater of the Year in 1994) is a pro skater from San Francisco. He founded Lakai, a footwear company with fellow skater Rick Howard. In the video, he talks about how he got into skateboarding – by borrowing his brother and cousin’s skateboards. In SKATE, he joins other pro skaters like PJ Ladd, Jason Dill, and Mark Gonzales.

Electronic Arts’ SKATE will be released sometime this year and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an exact date. Meanwhile, enjoy the video!
