Mizuguchi’s Lumines-inspired Nike Shoes

Lumines is a product of Tetsuya Mizuguchi‘s fascination with sound and light patterns. Catchy music and visual treats have set the game apart from other puzzle games in the market. It’s the puzzle game with personality and style. Just like Mizuguchi himself.

In a video posted by Jason Bertrand (aka b1jasonb) of 1Up, it’s easy to spot the developer with his blinding neon long sleeves shirt. Even his white undershirt has an orange-yellowish design that could just be a pattern taken from the games he created. But when he started showing off his Lumines-inspired Nike shoes, everything else around them just faded. The rainbow-rhinestone combo is much too Elton John-ish  (or Liberace, your pick) for us, but hey, who are we to question Mizuguchi-san’s taste?
