More than expected: Blast Works Wii for US$ 39.99
According to some reports in the past, the upcoming shoot ’em up video game title Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy is going to be priced for around 20 bucks. While Majesco Entertainment has yet to announce an official price, it seems that you will need more than the estimated amount to purchase this former freeware PC game.
According to a listing that appeared over at Gamestop‘s online store, Blast Works will cost US$ 39.99. We are not certain if this is going to be the last price or this is just a price holder put by the retail chain. In case you are not aware how the Wii version of the game differs from the one you have on your PC, here are some of the worth mentioning features:
- 15 different land, air and sea missions
- Upgrade your ship’s weapons, propulsion systems and armor in the Hangar
- Defend your Hangar by using the Wiimote like an anti-aircraft turret to shoot down enemies attacking from all angles
- Design your own ships in the Ship Editor and test them out on a custom level built using the Level Editor
- 2-player co-op mode
Gamestop has also listed an October 16 release date for Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy. We are still awaiting for official announcement from Majesco for further confirmation.
