More than meets the eye: new Transformers game trailer rolls out
“Choosing sides is only the beginning.”
The latest trailer to Activision‘s Transformers: The Game (Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Nintendo DS, PSP) is now available on IGN, and…in all sincerity, it just blew yours truly out of his comfy computer chair and into next week. The one-minute clip doesn’t show much, granted, but it reveals a striking similarity to The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction – in the sense of being able to destroy everything in your path (which is ALWAYS a good thing). The Autobots and Decepticons are laboriously modeled with striking detail and intricacy – and if the last few moments of the clip are anything to go by, you’ll be able to transform seamlessly while in motion. If there had been any doubts of the game’s quality, we’re pretty sure this could change things.
Growing up, I wasn’t a Transformers fan. This trailer alone makes me want to rethink my childhood.
