My Mom Is So Cool, She Plays Xbox 360 Games
How would you like it when your mom suddenly shows interest on your Xbox 360 games? Impossible? Corporate Vice-President of Marketing and Publishing for Microsoft‘s XBOX and Home and Entertainment Divisions, Peter Moore, think otherwise.
In a Primotech interview with him, Moore seemingly foretold the future of next-gen consoles in a statement that goes like this: “…God forbid, even your mom will be playing games on the Xbox 360…” Brave words, indeed. But come to think of it, he may be telling it right considering the transitionary phase that the gaming universe is currently undertaking.
Innovative offerings like Xbox Live Arcade and the addition of completely new ways to play, like Nintendo’s Wiimote, are just some of the events that may finally relent to the idea of luring more consumers from the more elusive demographics (like your mom) into the gaming universe. Take that and add it to the plethora of reasons why your mom could actually be showing interest on your games and viola!
You can finally say, “Dude, my mom is so cool she plays Xbox 360 games!” Or are you afraid your mom could beat you to the pulp on that hot new game? But hey, this could be a great way to bond with your mom, eh?
