Myst ships for PAL territories
We don’t post about it often, but you guys do seem to love your Myst. Luckily for folks in most PAL territories, you’ll have the chance to relive one of the definitive adventure experiences on your handhelds.
Cyan Worlds and Midway Games had teamed up to deliver a port of the solitary adventurer’s journey that had fans clamoring for sequels. Today, Midway announced that shipping had begun for copies of the PSP version of Myst. While they’ve said that this shipping is for PAL territories, gamers in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa will have to wait a little longer to get their game on.
Now, for those folks out there who’ve mentioned something about the graphics, don’t feel so down. Some of you mentioned earlier that the graphics were a lot like some of the first pre-rendered PC games. In fact, that’s because this is one of the first pre-rendered games. While there are probably some graphical tweaks, the main reason you fell in love with the game was that it presented an adventure that carried itself with dignity and intriguing gameplay mechanics, and the impressive bearing you saw of the game in its original outing will certainly remain intact here.
