Mythic Entertainment is now BioWare Mythic

Perhaps due to Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning‘s less than desirable performance, EA has announced that developer Mythic Entertainment is no more. It’s now known as BioWare Mythic.

Perhaps due to Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning‘s less than desirable performance, EA has announced that developer Mythic Entertainment is no more. It’s now known as BioWare Mythic.

This follows an announcement from about a year ago where both Mythic and BioWare were bought together under EA’s newly-formed MMO/RPG group. EA has so far not disclosed whether the rebranding would affect WAR.

BioWare Mythic is now the second MMO-focused studio under BioWare. The other is BioWare Austin, which is currently developing Star Wars: The Old Republic.
