Namco Bandai to release WiiWare version of bubble wrap goodness
Popping bubble wraps must be an innate human instinct rather than being everybody’s favorite pastime. As we found out upon the launch of Namco Bandai‘s PuchiPuchi portable bubble wrap toy, the wacky Japanese also love the guilty pleasure, and it shows in their Namco Bandai’s new WiiWare title, Ouchide Mugen Puti Puti. More information awaits in the full article!
Admit it: everybody, including you, loves to pop bubble wrap. Who could resist a chance to feel those fragile bubbles go “pop!” between your eager fingers? Certainly not the Japanese, with their penchant for everything strange and cute. This preference certainly shows in one of the Japanese WiiWare original titles, Ouchide Mugen Puti Puti by Namco Bandai.
Based on Namco Bandai’s own PuchiPuchi portable bubble wrap toy, Ouchide Mugen Puti Puti cab actually simulates the feel of popping bubble wrap with the use of the Wiimote‘s built-in speakers and rumble. We’re not sure if the Nintendo Wii’s attempt to actually recreate the bubble wrap popping experience will be successful, but the idea itself looks like a winner already.
Available in Japan for 800 Wii Points this coming spring, Ouchide Mugen Puti Puti will include about 40 stages, including a stress-checking mind test mode and possibly a two-player mode as well.
