NeoFlash Summer Coding Competition entry: Dstroy v1.6

The ongoing NeoFlash Summer Coding Competition 2007 has just  received a new game entry courtesy of developer Naroin. The homebrew is titled Dstroy, a Bomberman-style game that’s been ported to the PC, GP2x, and DS. And just like Bomberman, the goal in Dstroy is for you to blast away the in-game monsters in the game’s 48 levels. Dstroy was originally built for DOS by FBS in 1995.

Dstroy is further expected to undergo more changes in the near future – expect to see these fixes in later builds:

• Sound working on NDS
• A network mode, up to 8 (or more) players
• Multilanguage version (in French only for the moment)
• Get the joysticks work well on PC
• High definition version (800*600) ; easy switching between the two versions
• Correct the bugs. Ah no, there’s not one 😉
• Update website with all up-to-date versions!
