New details and first screens of SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Tactical Strike for the PSP
Sony‘s SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Tactical Strike for the PSP breaks from SOCOM‘s traditional roots as an FPS and has implemented new features that make it a more strategic game. It’s inevitable that SOCOM‘s new system of gameplay will be compared to Full Spectrum Warrior and Brothers in Arms (that’s what IGN’s Chris Roper did), but SOCOM has its won little twists that make this game unique.
Each encounter in the game is split into two parts: the setup and execution. The setup is where you make sure all of your men are in the correct position for maximum coverage and firepower dispersal. If you do this correctly, then you can expect the second phase of the plan to go smoothly. Execution is when the bullets start flying. And if you planned well, then your boys will be left standing.
