New gameplay screenshots for Samba de Amigo
For those who fondly remember the video game Samba De Amigo from the Dreamcast console, you will be glad to know that it’s being reincarnated by Gearbox Software and the Sonic Team for the Nintendo Wii. To see the initial changes they’ve done to it, take a look at the screenshots after the jump!
What we have here are a couple of new screenshots for the Nintendo Wii video game Samba De Amigo. This actually first came out back in 1999 on arcade and later on, a port was created for the Dreamcast console.
The Wii version,is being handled by the Sonic Team and Gearbox Software. Samba de Amigo is a rhythm-based title and utilizes controllers that are shaped like instruments. In the game’s case, it uses maracas.
There’s still no word if a new peripheral will be released in connection with this but the companies behind the port have mentioned before that the Wiimote will do well with Samba de Amigo.
