New inFamous trailer to be revealed tonight
There’s some rumble going on at the Sucker Punch backyard as we receive news that their elusive PS3 third-person action title will be having a new gameplay trailer revealed. Tonight. Yes, after a year of silence, inFamous is back on the map, and we’ve got the dibs on where you can catch it.
It was also at the E3 of last year that Sucker Punch showed for the first time the trailer for their third-person action title, inFamous. It created much buzz, particularly because Sony has claimed it to be their own entry into the open-world, sandbox genre of gaming.
Of course, it also helps that the developer’s street cred is maximally boosted, thanks to their experience working on Sly Cooper. But after that, we haven’t really heard anything much about inFamous.
But now, Sucker Punch looks as if they’re ready to rumble once again as news are surfacing that after a year of quiet development, they are ready to reveal another footage for inFamous. We have no idea what gives, and they decided to release materials only a year after their initial introduction of the game, but what we do know is that the second exclusive gameplay trailer will debut tonight on Spike TV.
This will be shown alongside other highly-anticipated titles such as Resistance 2, BioShock (PS3) and Prince of Persia. It’s set to air sometime between 9:00 to 11:00pm PST, so you might as well stay home and wait for that to show. It’s a school night, anyway.
In the meantime, to remind you what inFamous is all about, in case you’ve forgotten somewhat about it (and we don’t blame you), here’s the clip for the first trailer they released at last year’s E3.
