After a blotched May release and now set for a June launch, Class of Heroes by Atlus is back with info-vengeance. Thanks to the game’s project lead, Sam Mullen, we finally picked up on some new information about this PSP FPS dungeon crawler.
According to Mullen, the game is big enough to accommodate a certain amount of randomness, much that “no two play-throughs are ever quite the same, even if you use the same characters.” Sounds intriguing huh? Apart from that, he also explained the roots of Class of Heroes, as well as the things that you can expect from it.
Being that it is loosely based on a previous Japan-only Wizardry series, it has everything you’d expect from a dungeon crawler. But, it also has a ton of stuff that you won’t find anywhere else in the genre, such as a huge amount of map layouts, intricate party relation system, and the highly flexible item alchemy system just to name a few.
There’s still no word as to when the new release date will be, but we do have some screenshots here for you to check out.
