New screenshots for The Darkness

The Darkness, being developed by Starbreeze Studios, is looking beeeeautiful. Expect it to be out in the first quarter of this year for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

So what’s it about? It’s based on the comic book of the same name (published by Top Cow Productions), it’s pretty faithful to the source material. Dark and gritty, the screenshots look just as we imagined it when we heard the comic would be translated into a video game.

All in all, we’re going to be waiting for this one with bated breath. Check out the screenshots and start skulking in the darkness; it’s coming very soon.
