New trailer, Japanese screening date for Resident Evil: Degeneration out

You were probably filled with awe when you first viewed the screenshots and the short trailer of Resident Evil: Degeneration, Capcom and Sony Pictures’ joint CG film project. To those who haven’t caught wind of this upcoming movie feature yet, Resident Evil: Degeneration can be considered as a direct sequel to the existing games in the franchise, with Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as the main protagonists.

The film is set somewhere in Midwestern America, seven years after the Raccoon City incident. Both Leon and Claire are thrown into all-too familiar situation, and are reunited to deal with the monstrosity that is the t-Virus. The movie is directed by Makoto Kamiya, and will be shown in Japan from October 18th to November 1st. No announcements for international screening has been made.
