New Wiimote Button Revealed?

An interesting photo came our way. Apparently, there is an intriguing picture that will grace the covers of the upcoming August issue of Nintendo Power. It starts as ordinary as ever, with a woman giddily holding a black Wiimote, but what is interesting here is the purple-ish- (or bluish-) colored button on the underside of the controller which has an eery resemblance with the Z-button of the GameCube controller. This picture was never seen before in any pictures of the Wiimote, that is why forums are abuzz with speculations about the purple button. As for the side of Nintendo, they have not issued an official statement or any word about it, so until that time comes, this will remain as a rumor. So what do you think is this purple button?
