New Zelda on Wii but DS version delayed?

Gaming site SPOnG is up to something involving Nintendo. It would be remembered that just a couple of days ago, we reported on them having issues with retailer Littlewoods’ overpriced PS3 units. Anyway, as we have mentioned, these time they have been trying to contact Nintendo Company Ltd. to clarify certain rumors about Zelda.
First, there are speculations that there’s a new Zelda game coming in for the Wii. This is not actually unexpected given the success The Twilight Princess is currently enjoying. However, we have learned that the game in point has been in development for over one year now.
We’re not saying the new game is to be released soon, nothing like that. We’re just thrilled with the dedication they have been giving to “the legend.” Speaking of which, it seems that DS title The Legend of Zelda: Phantom of Hourglass are having problems and as a result, the game has been pushed to October of 2007. According to the reports, the delay is due to “massive overhaul of the game.”
Nintendo, finally, has not yet answered queries about the matter. At any rate, we’re stopping the mill right here. Because when it comes to Zelda, we are just happy that the legend lives on.
