NIGHTS: Journey of Dreams Japanese website unveiled
For those of us who fell in love with the original NiGHTS on the Sega Saturn, and still can’t believe that Sega’s making a next-gen sequel of the title for the Nintendo Wii, then this should probably seal the deal: the official japanese site of the game, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, has recently opened for business, giving our beloved androgynous hero in the purple tights his/her very own presence on the world wide web.
Just like the game, the website itself has a dreamy, elegant feel to it. Your cursor is followed by purty twinkling lights (I’m ashamed to say I toyed with it for a while), there’s a soothing classical soundtrack that plays in the background, and the website itself is themed after night – the time of day when dreams are usually made.
A lot of the website’s sections are still under construction, with only two of them open for viewing. The second one on the top row seems to talk of the game’s main premise. The other one at the far right is a media page, where you’ll be able to view a trailer of our very own NiGHTS flying through gorgeous-looking locales. There’s also a screenshot gallery, as well as an exclusive wallpaper you can download. Awesome.
Pinch yourself, this isn’t a dream. NiGHTS is getting his/her very own sequel, and it’s about time. Updates as we get them, and you can view the actual website by clicking on the Read link below.
