Nine-to-Five to become PSN’s first big episodic title?
There’s no confirmation yet on Sony‘s part, but the word from Gamespot right now is that the company is passing around a survey questionnaire that asks people on their take on a lot of different things. The most intriguing part of the quiz is the part when it asks people for their take on a game called Nine-to-Five.
Nine-to-Five is supposedly Sony’s first downloadable title that will concretize the firm’s best laid plans with episodic content. The game will come in the form of a sitcom simulator with cartoony visuals and quirky gameplay. It’ll span four episodes and each one will take about three hours to complete.
Working in a sitcom won’t be easy. You have to learn the tricks of the trade as well as the employment of more unorthodox maneuvers to guarantee the security of your job. If you don’t, the chopping block is a foregone conclusion for your short-lived career.
Nine-to-Five will have the following key features:
- Four wacky episodes will have you fighting for survival in MegaCorp, the multinational firm handling your show
- Each episode has a unique twist which you must adopt to. Cliffhangers should always be expected.
- Note that each episode may be purchased separately via the PlayStation Store
- There are 25 people in the set to coerce, lie to or be buddies with. You can even flirt with the hot members if you dare.
- Mini-games are also in the mix to add to the fun
- The gameplay is driven by goals
- Customizable character and voice acting from Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central vets
According to E-Rewards, Nine-to-Five is expected to arrive at US$ 5 per episode. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any more new and official info on this as they come.
