Nintendo Europe – RSS Feed Hints at the Good Stuff!
One of Nintendo’s websites have revealed an interesting feature from their site – an RSS feed. The strange part about this RSS feed is the fact that it was recently re-emphasized as this feature already existed since July 26th. This announcement comes only 1 day before the Leipzig Gaming Convention (the most awaited convention of the year), and hints at a possible announcement of the Wii launch date (in Europe). With the announcement, they made the following comment –
“Do you want to be the first to know when Wii launches in Europe? Are you spending far too much time surfing to all your favourite websites? Do you like being ahead of the pack at all times? If you nodded ‘yesÂ’ to any of the above questions, Nintendo’s RSS feed is a feature for you.”
This does not point to any recent announcement of a launch date, but considering that this comes close to the Leipzig conference in which I speculated that Nintendo will announce more information of the Wii such as a price and a launch date – it’s tough to argue otherwise. You can subscribe to the feed here – copy and paste the link into your RSS reader.
