Nintendo to appear in US sporting events
To say that the Nintendo Wii and its bundled Wii Sports title are popular would be the understatement of the year. Despite the massive commercial success that the tandem has enjoyed, Nintendo is pushing for even loftier heights. They’ll be touring the US and gracing sporting events to let those who haven’t caught the Wii Sports fever know what they’ve been missing out on.
As if Nintendo’s innovative Wii console and its staple title Wii Sports weren’t popular enough, a tour is being prepped up to promote the two along with other sports titles. Nintendo of America will be on the road in the months to come, gracing sporting events where everyone can see and enjoy their products.
Sporting events, particularly those which concern Wii Sports‘ offerings, will be given premium. The PGA tour will have Wii Sports Golf demonstrations, while MLB games will be spiced up by Wii Sports Baseball.
An added attraction of Nintendo’s sporting tour will be the unveiling of the Donkey Kong monster truck. We certainly hope it comes in banana yellow.
