Nippon Ichi cans three unannounced games
Times have not been good to Nippon Ichi, and with this development, it seems they’re in for more hours of darkness, figuratively speaking. The doods behind Disgaea and the ultra cool Prinnies have decided to halt development on three titles, spending resources on titles that they won’t see returns from.

In total, Nippon Ichi has spent ¥21 million or US$ 244,000 on these games, which will now go to waste because there won’t be any output to make up for the investments. Citing the games’ quality and the current market conditions, however, the publisher believes that they would have lost more if they had carried on with development.
Nippon Ichi hasn’t specified which titles are biting the dust, so it appears these are unannounced titles. At any rate, PS3 and PSP owners shouldn’t be expecting new titles from them any time soon.
