No MGS4 demo for PSN

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - Image 1This week’s edition of the Kojima Productions Report podcast has some pretty bad news for those hoping for a Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots demo to appear on the PlayStation Network.

According to podcast host Ryan Payton, there are currently no plans of uploading the playable Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots demo on the PlayStation Store. Michael Shelling, Konami‘s new PR director, echoed Payton’s statements, noting that E for All will be gamers’ one chance to play it prior to launch.

Konami confirmed earlier this week that a playable demo of the game will be present at the E for All Expo. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is expected to hit retail next year. A PlayStation 3 bundle containing a copy of the game is also reportedly being planned for a pre-Easter release in Europe.
