North America to be visited by the wild hare
The North American market might be in for a treat as Wild Hare Entertainment and Alten8 Limited recently reached an exclusive publishing agreement. The agreement states that Wild Hare has the sole right to published several Alten8’s titles including the unannounced PSP ones.
Wild Hare Entertainment VP for Publishing Matt Tolleson gladly shares, “Gamers will be amazed at the content this agreement allows us to provide the PSP portable entertainment system in the North American market.” The just-months old publishing (established in July 2006) might be viewed as an underdog rookie in the business. However, the company promises not to disappoint fans by breathing fresh into the scene.
Accordingly, the CEO for Alten8 Paul Andrews has this response: “With reciprocal content publishing and distribution , between our like minded companies we can create a strong alliance for a cross Atlantic partnership which opens new doors not only for us, but for the developers which up till now have had no access to mainstream publishing and distribution in Europe or North America.” Alten8 currently has a list of titles, released or otherwise, across different platforms (PC, Phone, GBA, DS, PS2 and Wii).
